I am a fully qualified counsellor/therapist and a registered, accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I can also be found on the BACP register which was set up by the Department of Health in 2013.
I have been trained to post-graduate level in Integrative Counselling, which is accredited by the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP)
I attend regular CPD training days keeping my skills and knowledge up-to-date so that I can help you in the best way I can.
I have also qualified as a Relationship Counsellor with Relate, a national organisation.
My experience includes working as a Bereavement Counsellor at St Christophers Hospice, Bromley. I have also been working with North Kent MIND since 2017 with clients who have sought help for a wide range of problems such as abuse, abandonment, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties with one or both parents. This has given me the experience in Counselling clients with underlying psychiatric illness who are under specialist care having regular medication.
I work with couples having relational difficulties at North Kent Relate. The problems of bringing up children in a world saturated with social media, communication problems between couples and problems during stages of transitions such as children leaving home, retirement etc.
